The centre is an oval medallion with a paisley vine engraved into it and a beaded gold border running all the way round — a shape borrowed from old temple lockets. Rudraksha beads sit close on either side, then two large golden pearls, all on a twisted saffron-and-red thread that ends in a matching tassel. Understated, and the kind that suits a grown brother rather than a boy. Arrives in a gift box.
